Members of the Orange County Historical Society dedicated a new historic marker last Saturday afternoon in Orleans along West Washington Street to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the tragic murder of Thomas Moody, in conjunction with the famed Moody-Toliver Feud which made national headlines in the mid-1870s.  Earlier in the day Society members along with Orleans Public Library hosted a special historic program with Author Bob Moody who spoke on the feud and the events surrounding the murder of Thomas Moody in Orleans on March 2, 1875.  Moody is the author of "Terror of Indiana" Bent Jones & The Moody-Tolliver Feud.
